How do I submit a Maintenance Request?

The most efficient way to make a Maintenance Request is to click on the button at the Top-Right side of the screen and submit it through the Rent Manager Tenant Portal. This portal will be able to show any requests that were previously completed or currently pending, as well as be able to tell you any outstanding balances on your account.

What’s Tenants Insurance? Do I need it?

Tenant’s insurance helps you replace your belongings in case of damage or loss due to fire, theft or water. Insurance is meant to protect you and help you in situations that you would otherwise be paying for out of pocket.

We require all Tenants to obtain Tenants insurance before moving into their new homes.

When is Garbage Pick up?

We recommend that you check your municipalities websites for their individual waste schedules.

We also encourage tenants to do their part by recycling (blue bin) and composting (green bin) whenever possible.

Emergency Contacts

In the case of an emergency we ask that your first call is to 911 if you or someone else is in danger. After that we ask that you call our office phone number (416-385-8003). After office hours our phones are transferred to our building supers who can either help you directly or send someone who can.

Are your properties ‘Pet Friendly’?

All Tobis Investments Properties are pet friendly as it is tenants right to own animals.

We ask that you inform us of any pets in case of an emergency. We want you and your loved ones (humans and otherwise) to be safe and happy in your new home.

What is LMR?

LMR stands for Last Months Rent. When your application is accepted we ask for your LMR to confirm that you are still interested in the unit. After your lease is signed your LMR is held until you choose to move out and will be used to cover your last month in the unit.
